I am considering very much joining the W.E.U. after nearly 30 years as an active branch officer and shop steward for UNITE the union. I am also a accredited Lay Companion with credentials to represent in any industry or work location. I have recently left UNITE as I feel it has list it’s direction as a trade union and does not have the interests of its members at heart.

    • Hi Tom,

I was in a similar position to yourself, previously a branch Secretary for Unite in public transport, and got disillusioned with the way Unite conducted itself, and how they and other unions lost touch with employees, so joined the Workers of England.

We would love to have you on board, if you email me your details to stephen.morris@workersofengland.co.uk we can then have a chat about moving this forward.

      Stephen Morris
      General Secretary
