NEW Member Resources

One of our priorities at the Workers of England Union is to provide practical support that members can access whenever they need it.

That is why we are introducing a growing library of downloadable guidance leaflets, designed to give clear, straightforward advice on many of the workplace issues people face every day.

The leaflets are intended to be quick and easy to read, while providing practical guidance. Topics will include employment rights, workplace health and wellbeing, disciplinary and grievance procedures, sickness absence, health and safety, flexible working, stress at work and many other areas.

Whether you need a quick answer before speaking to your representative or simply want to understand your rights better, these resources will be available to download and print whenever you need them.

Alongside the guidance leaflets, we are also creating a comprehensive Members' Resource Directory. This directory will bring together national organisations, charities and support services in one convenient place, making it easier for members to find expert help when they need it. Each entry will include a brief explanation of the support available, together with telephone numbers, websites, email addresses and opening hours where appropriate.

The directory will cover a wide range of subjects, including mental health, domestic abuse, debt advice, employment support, carers, disability, bereavement, housing, family support, veterans' services, addiction, self-harm, suicide prevention and many other areas. Rather than searching the internet at a difficult time, members will have a trusted source of information available through the WEU website.

These resources form part of our commitment to providing real value to membership. We want the Workers of England Union to be more than just a union you contact when something goes wrong. We want it to be a source of information, advice and practical support that members can rely on throughout their working lives.
