From Stephen Morris, General Secretary, Workers of England Union
“As we come to the close of another demanding and fast-changing year, I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to every member of the Workers of England Union. Your resilience, professionalism, and commitment to each other have been truly inspiring.
Many of you will continue working throughout the Christmas and New Year period, keeping vital services running while others rest. Others may not celebrate Christmas at all, but this season is still a moment to pause and recognise the contribution you make every single day.
Our Trade Union exists because of you and your voices, your experiences and your determination to stand up for fair treatment and dignity at work. Whether you have faced difficult shifts, workplace pressures or personal challenges this year, please know that you are valued, supported and not alone. The Workers of England Union will continue to protect your employment rights.
Achievements and Looking Forward
Together we have pushed for safer workplaces, stronger employment rights and greater respect, and we will continue that fight into the year ahead.
So, whether you are enjoying time with family, taking a quiet moment for yourself, or carrying on with essential duties, I wish you all the best and a positive, hopeful start to the coming year.”
