The Workers of England Union takes pride in being completely unaffiliated to any political party. This unique stance ensures that, regardless of which party governs our nation, we maintain an objective approach to evaluating policies. We champion those that deliver true benefits to our members and resolutely campaign against measures that do not.

Unwavering Independence

Our union’s political neutrality is not merely a slogan—it’s the cornerstone of our strength. By staying independent, we:

  • Avoid partisan bias in negotiations
  • Focus solely on outcomes that matter to our members
  • Maintain the flexibility to collaborate with any government

Objective Analysis of Government Policies

Whenever a new administration introduces legislation, the Workers of England Union conducts a rigorous, fact-based review. We:

  • Assess potential impacts on wages, pensions, and working conditions
  • Consult directly with members to gather real-world insights
  • Publish our findings and lobby for amendments where necessary

Listen to Our BBC Kent Interview

Prior to the last election, the WEU was invited to discuss our independent stance on BBC Kent—start listening at 01:15:42.
