Workers of England Union – Speeches
At last… England’s workforce has a voice!
The Workers of England union has been established not only to support our workforce but also to protect England as a nation. This new union will make a real difference if the Workers of England unite and stand together.
“This union will make a difference if the Workers of England unite behind us and support us as well,” says Eddie Bone, the union’s vice president. Right is on our side. “I do not want to see my country continue to suffer when it doesn’t need to. I do not want the workers of England to be made redundant or see working conditions deteriorate unnecessarily.”
The Labour Party, the so-called people’s party, should have done much more to help the people of England. Instead, they have sold out to unscrupulous companies, cashing in on the economic climate—claiming poverty yet still making huge profits. They have sold out to Europe and are in the process of breaking England into regions. This will only have a detrimental effect on maintaining a cohesive workforce. They have shown no respect for England’s rich heritage or the hard workers of our nation.
What do the established unions say about this? Frankly, not enough, yet they continue to fund the Labour Party even as unemployment reaches 2.5 million.
Why should your union membership and hard-earned contributions continue to pay for Labour’s treacherous behaviour? I choose the words “treacherous behaviour” carefully. If you doubt this, remember: the Scottish Parliament enacted a law stating a “40-mile inclusion zone” for public-sector jobs—which England does not have!
So when Gordon Brown declares “British jobs for British workers,” it’s one of two things: a lie, or he hasn’t got a clue.
Now, at last, you have an option—join the Workers of England union and make a real difference: your voice can be heard. If you agree, call the Workers of England Union or join us online. Our membership subscriptions go directly to English causes such as fighting for An English Parliament, St. George’s Day as a bank holiday, and Local employment policies.
Today is the first time that the workers of England have a voice
For too long, the workers of England have been let down and, at times, trodden underfoot by our leaders. It’s time to stand up and take pride in the work we produce. As a culture and nation, we share an industrial history to be proud of, not ashamed of. Our industries have—and still do—produce world-changing inventions and deliver a high standard of service.
When we first conceived the idea of establishing a trade union for the Workers of England, it was because we believed the old unions had stopped fighting hard to protect jobs and industries. Instead, they sold their souls to a Labour government for “30 pieces of silver.” They took up privileged positions with high salaries and compromised one too many times. A clear indicator is that social mobility is now on par with Charles Dickens’s era—and we all know what that meant for the workers of England.
Putting it simply, jobs need saving. Businesses that have reaped untold fortunes must be forced to reinvest in our economy. Call centres need to return to England—not only to maintain quality service but to foster a genuine sense of cultural identity. We deserve services that, when we pay into them, help keep our fellow workers employed and protect our standard of living from corporate vultures.
At present, businesses are closing at an alarming rate. What are the established unions doing? Are they fighting for you? Are they working with the government to keep England working?
Let’s look at the facts:
- Financial meltdowns of NHS trusts year after year, yet management structures remain unchanged.
- Staff asked to work more unsocial hours without fair compensation.
- An increasing number of unqualified staff employed, without receiving proper training or the extra hourly rates they deserve.
- Your concerns voiced and still nobody seems to listen.
Having worked in the NHS for over 13 years, I know we must protect our employment conditions and ensure our voice is heard.
