How You Can Help

As a member of the Workers of England Union, there are many ways to get involved:

• Hand Out Leaflets – Spend a few hours on the high street or in a shopping centre to raise awareness.
• Deliver Membership Leaflets – Drop leaflets to your street, workplace, or friends. Recipients can join by mailing them back to us.
• Attend Local Action Days – Join us when our campaigning vehicle visits your area and help distribute information.
• Write to Local Councils and MPs – Raise the profile of WEU campaigns by sharing your views with decision-makers.
• Submit Letters to Newspapers – Highlight local issues or national matters such as the unfair Barnett formula.

We’re expanding branches nationwide. It costs nothing but your time and commitment to establish a local group. Here are some tried-and-tested tips:

• Use Placards – They look great in photos and help passersby understand your campaign.
• Be Ready to Sign People Up – Use clipboards, membership forms, or digital tools like tablets to collect details.
