Employee’s case failed for lack of Trade Union Representation

The case which is reported in the Daily Mail on the link below is a classic where an employee had a good arguable case that could have succeeded if she had competent Trade Union representation and advice.

She seems to have failed to argue her case with the employer on viable legal grounds and failed to appeal the employer’s initial decision and then very unwisely she resigned.  She afterwards sought to claim constructive dismissal and discrimination, but because of the way she had misguidedly handled it, she has lost her case.
