The Workers of England Union has always taken the view that we are here to protect our members’ rights in the workplace. When those rights were threatened with compulsory vaccination we have taken cases not only through the Employment Tribunals, but also in some cases into the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
Now a High Court Judge has found that all our legal arguments against Barchester Healthcare raised “arguable points of law” and are to go ahead to a full hearing before the Employment Appeal Tribunal in due course (Mrs Joanna Hussain – v – Barchester Healthcare Limited – Case No. EA-2023-000394, Miss Sammy-Jo Chadwick – v – Barchester Healthcare Limited – Case No. EA-2023-000407, Mrs Galina Dimitrova – v – Barchester Healthcare Limited Case No. EA-2023-000409).
