Launch of Our Bus Drivers Charter

Launch of Our Bus Drivers’ Charter

The Workers of England Union has launched the first draft of our Bus Drivers’ Charter. This Charter is designed to give you the opportunity to highlight your concerns and specify which aspects of your working conditions need improvement. We have allocated a three-month period for you to review the draft and contribute your ideas.

Why Your Involvement Matters

Once your feedback is collated, the Charter will be formalised and submitted to the relevant authorities and bus operators. Improving your working conditions is an essential part of being a good employer, and we want the bus companies to understand that merely meeting the minimum requirements is not sufficient. This Charter will emphasise key areas where both drivers and passengers can benefit from enhanced service standards.

Take this opportunity to get involved and have your say. Visit our Charter launch page to review the draft and submit your feedback.

How to Participate

The Workers of England Union will be distributing the first draft of the Charter across garages over the next three months. If you would like to assist with distribution or have questions, please call our office on 01206 766899 or visit our participation page.

You can also download the draft Charter (PDF) and share your suggestions directly.

The Workers of England Union is committed to improving your working conditions. Please help us by reviewing the draft and sharing your insights!
