Ensure your rights are upheld if your employer refuses to accept a Clinical Reason Exemption Certificate issued under The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities)(Amendment) (Coronavirus) (No. 2) Regulations 2021.
Overview
Below are two grievance document templates designed for:
- Individual Grievance – for employees submitting their own case
- Union Grievance – to be completed by your trade union representative
If your employer refuses to accept the issued Clinical Reason Exemption Certificate, you may submit one of these documents. You are legally entitled to have your trade union representative attend any grievance meeting, and the meeting must be rearranged if a representative is unavailable at the proposed time.
